A Three-Year Survivor Series
So, what's your absolute favorite show on television? No wait! Let me guess this one. It's CSI. BAM; that's correct huh? And if it's not CSI, it's the Survivor series. Yeah, how am I doing so far? This is true for so many people. They love these two shows. I guess that means Thursday night rules the week for television watching. Personally I love CSI. I've been enjoying it from the beginning and I even watch CSI Miami. These are great shows. 100 percent pure entertainment. However, I have to say that the best one out there now days is Nip Tuck. Ah ha, no one knew I was going to say that. You either love this show or you hate it with a passion. This is the sort of response I get from everyone. Oh well, at least there are plenty of other television series' to choose from. Most likely something for everyone.
Okay, so they created this television show that revolves around castaways on a deserted island. Tell me if you know this one. No, it's not The Real Gilligan's Island. That reality show was a bust. I'm referring to the ever-popular Survivor series. I actually have only viewed one of these. And I'm talking about and episode; not a season. My first question regarding the Survivor series concerns the cast. How is it that the girls get so skinny on this show and the guys stay all ripped? Well at least some of them do anyway. Now, I totally understand why the cast members would get skinny. I am assuming that they have very little to eat. On the other hand, I have no clue as to how the buff guys stay buff. Are they taking full advantage of the weight room located on the south side of the island? Are they consuming protein shakes and various other supplements? Hey, I've got it. Maybe there's a tree on the island that grows creatine. Yeah, that's plausible. Are you catching the sarcasm in my tone yet? I simple don't see how you wouldn't lose a great deal of muscle and fat if you have nothing to eat regularly. It's truly an enigma.
Whether or not you enjoy reality shows commonly depends on the concept. I've found that some are entertaining and worth watching, and others are terrible; like The Bachelor. I think it's safe to say that the Survivor series is one that people have deemed entertaining and fun. Are you watching it on Thursday nights?
